Daniel Suhr

Center for American Rights
President
Midwest
Daniel leads the Center for American Rights, a national public-interest law firm on the front lines of the fight for free speech, free enterprise, and parents' freedom in education. When he's not arguing cases in court, he can be found writing about them on op-eds pages such as the Wall Street Journal, discussing them on shows like Tucker Carlson, or debating them with equally nerdy friends over beers.

Daniel previously served for six years as a senior aide to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, ending as policy director. Before entering public service, he worked at the national headquarters of The Federalist Society.

A graduate of Marquette University (B.A., J.D.), Georgetown University (LL.M.), and the University of Missouri (M.P.A.), he was a law clerk for Judge Diane Sykes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He's married to Anna and loves building legos and watching Star Wars with Will (12) and Graham (10).
