Daniel Suhr

Liberty Justice Center
Managing Attorney
Daniel is a managing attorney with the Liberty Justice Center, a national public-interest law firm standing up for free speech, workers' rights, and government accountability in courts across the country. When he's not arguing cases in court, he can be found writing about them on opeds pages such as the Wall Street Journal, discussing them on shows like Tucker Carlson and Glenn Beck, or debating them with equally nerdy friends over beers.

Daniel previously served as policy director for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and chief of staff for Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. He was also a law clerk for Judge Diane S. Sykes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before entering public service, he worked at the national headquarters of The Federalist Society.

A graduate of Marquette University (B.A., J.D.), Georgetown University (LL.M.), and the University of Missouri (M.P.A.), he is a member of Christ Church Mequon, an Eagle Scout, and a fair-weather runner. He's married to Anna and loves building legos and watching Star Wars with Will (10) and Graham (8).
